US Government’s AARO Publishes Official UAP Imagery Repository

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) of the U.S. Department of Defense has created a dedicated public repository of official UAP imagery collected from U.S. military platforms.

This is not speculation or third-party footage — every video and case on the page comes directly from DoD sensors and has undergone AARO’s scientific assessment. Many cases are resolved as ordinary objects (balloons, birds, aircraft). A small number remain unresolved due to limited data.

Why This Matters

AARO’s mission is rigorous, data-driven analysis of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). The imagery page fulfills congressional direction for transparency by releasing declassified military videos with clear explanations. No exotic claims are made — only what the evidence supports.

Timeline of Key Cases on the Repository

Here are the verified cases listed (dates reflect when the footage was captured, not when released):

  • April 26, 2013 – Puerto Rico Object (Rafael Hernandez Airport) Infrared video from U.S. Customs aircraft. Initially appeared to split and enter water. AARO reconstruction: two ordinary objects traveling near each other at wind speed. Resolved as non-anomalous.
  • 2015 – “Go Fast” Object (U.S. Navy F/A-18) Famous FLIR video. Now publicly hosted with AARO context.
  • October 2017 – Al Taqaddum Object (Iraq) Aerostat infrared footage. Assessed as a cluster of balloons. Resolved as balloons.
  • December 2018 – Mt. Etna Object (Mediterranean) Forward-looking infrared from USAF platform. Balloon distorted by volcanic plume and atmosphere. Resolved as balloon.
  • 2021–2024 Europe series (PR-011 to PR-018) Multiple infrared videos from U.S. European Command platforms.
    • Several resolved as balloons or birds.
    • PR-018 (2024, 10:30 duration) and others remain unresolved — described as physical objects with ordinary appearance and behavior. AARO states they do not warrant further analysis unless new data emerges.
  • 2023–2024 Africa series Resolved as migratory birds (PR-002, PR-003).
  • 2024 Middle East One resolved as consumer-grade reflective foil balloon; two others unresolved due to insufficient data.

Categories of Assessments (Verified by AARO)

  • Resolved as Balloons (multiple cases) – Drift with wind speed/direction; consistent morphology.
  • Resolved as Birds (multiple cases) – Wing-beat frequency in infrared, formation flight for energy conservation (>95% confidence).
  • Resolved as Aircraft – Western U.S. objects matched commercial flight data and radar.
  • Unresolved (several 2022–2024 cases) – Physical object confirmed, but no anomalous performance; insufficient data for full attribution.
  • Under Analysis – One case (PR-011, Europe 2021) still being evaluated.

How to View the Footage

All videos are embedded on the AARO page. Example of a recent unresolved case:

Additional cases have similar DVIDS or direct AARO embeds.

Sources & Official Statements

  • Primary source: AARO Official UAP Imagery page (continuously updated; new videos added as recently as January 2026).
  • AARO assessments explicitly state confidence levels (e.g., “almost certainly >95% likelihood”).
  • All material is declassified and released by the Department of Defense.

This repository represents the highest standard of verified UAP data currently available from the U.S. government. As new videos are added, iUFODb will continue to document them here with the same commitment to official assessments only.

Stay tuned for case-by-case deep dives on individual videos in future posts.

Only verified claims. Only official sources.
